| Q: My company is very concerned about price. How can we be sure
we are getting the best Price?
A: Once our creative consultants have found the right product(s) for you, we can research each product in our monthly updated data base of 600,000 products. In this way we can always assure you the best price in the country. This is just part of our service. |

Q: When purchasing promotional products what is the difference between Price and Value. A: As with many purchases, buying at the lowest price is not always the best value. Usually the difference is quality (a) but sometimes it is function (b). a. Two identical looking pens could have very different refills inside. The slightly less expensive one skips and leaks within months while the other writes smoothly and has a three year shelf life. In that case the best value is easy to spot. b. Two can coolers have the same basic function but the slightly less expensive one has a smooth surface making it difficult to remove the can when empty. The other one has a ribbed interior and the can is easily removed. Often when someone cannot get the can out their just throw away the can cooler. When you can get the can out easily you use that product over and over. So the more expensive one last much longer and displays your advertising longer making it the better value. Many products have similar differences. Allow us to help you find the best value. |

Q: At a trade show, how can I determine how many products to purchase for that event? A:Most people make the mistake of listening to the number quoted by the promoters and order larger quantities than needed. This often leads to a less expensive promotional item when fewer items at a great value would serve better. Judge the number of products to be given away by multiplying the number of hours your exhibit will be open by the number of staff you will have in attendance and then by the number 30. For example if you have a trade show for two days or 16 hours and you have 3 staff people you would need 1440 items to give away. (16 by 3 by 30 = 1440) It does not matter how many people may or may not be attending. Your people can only average one person every two minutes so you should not be giving away more than 1500 products at the most. We would rather see you purchase fewer products of greater value and get better results. |
|
Q: What is the best way to distribute products at a trade show? A:Many companies
just set their promotional products on their table and let anyone take all they want. This may sell more products
but it will not get you more business. |
|
Q: Most Promotional products companies just sell products, why does Silver Star Promotions stress the value of programs? A:We want every
marketing dollar you spend to get the best possible results. Just putting your name and logo on a product does
not always accomplish that. By picking the right product, the right copy, the right quantity and the best distribution
you will always get better results. |

Q: What elements should I look for to design a great program? A:
When you have established all the above your are ready to find the creative ideas to accomplish your objectives. We can help you determine all the above or you can tell us. Either way, together we can find the best way to implement our 6D formula. |
|
Q: What effects pricing more, quantity or number of imprint colors. A:Usually quantity. Extra colors are not that expensive an add on unless the quantity is very low. |
